II Congress of Medical Simulation for Students and Young Doctors

Medical simulation is a branch of simulation technology related to education and training in various medical fields. Its main purpose is to train medical professionals in order to reduce accidents during surgery, prescription, and general practice. Nevertheless, it is also used to train students in anatomy and physiology during their clinical training as allied health professionals. Technological advances in the past two decades have made it possible to simulate practices from early family doctor visits to complex operations such as heart surgery.

On the 3rd-4th of April 2014, Medical University of Lublin will be hosting a conference for approximately 200 students and young physicians, organized in Europe and Worldwide for the 2nd time in the history of medical simulation. The goal of the 3 day event is not only to train the participants in various simulation workshops held by professionals, but also to bring together future physicians from all over the Europe and create long-lasting friendship and partnership bonds in a truly student’s spirit.
