ESASO Anterior Segment Academy

2nd ESASO Anterior Segment Academy, was born from the union of New Trends in Anterior Segment Surgery and Refractive on-line (www.refractiveonline.com) with ESASO (www.esaso.org).
The project would promote knowledge and new research in a more organic and systematic way of learning, to let ophthalmologists be more competitive in the work environment.

ESASO was founded in 2008 to facilitate the dissemination of new and effective ophthalmological learning and expertise through a dynamic combination of in-depth exposition of topics and direct face-to-face training, where experts show students how to deal with practical situations and problems.
The School’s activities cover all subspecialties such as medical and surgical retina, cornea and refractive, cataract, glaucoma, uveitis, oculoplasty, pediatry and strabismus. Every year ESASO promotes postgraduate courses and wet labs.

The ESASO Anterior Segment Academy every year focused its scientific programme on a specific topic: the first edition analized keratoconus from diagnosis to therapy. According to this model, the 2nd ESASO Anterior Segment Academy , that will be held in Milan (Humanitas Congress Centre) from 28 to 30 April 2016, will explore ASTIGMATISM in every single aspect, with diagnostic and therapeutical approch.
