The 64th DGP Congress: “Pneumology blooms”.
An exciting, comprehensive and varied program. Following the motto of the congress “Pneumology – cross-sector, modern and lively”, we would like to talk to you, connect the sectors in our field, introduce new formats and shape a lively future together with you.

Shaping the future means allowing new things to grow and blossom - like our youth organization YoungDGP. Shaping the future also means nurturing what is important so that pneumology continues to flourish and shine, but also “cultivating” new fields in order to let pneumology grow and give it the importance it deserves.

This also includes not perceiving sector boundaries as barriers, but as an opportunity for cooperation, recognizing the appeal of “together” and finding new ways in these complex times in order to provide our patients with optimal diagnostics and therapy and bring us joy to give to our wonderful profession.

The sections, together with the program commission and with us as congress presidents, attached great importance to designing a program for everyone - with modern topics, with lively topics and with cross-sector topics. In addition to all the exchange of knowledge, cohesion, exchange and friendship should not be neglected. This is also reflected in a congress presidency with two presidents: one from the clinic, one from the practice, one from Mainz, one from Heidelberg. Both meet in the middle in the truest sense of the word in order to be able to create and live an attractive congress with you and to further develop our subject.
